Valentine Cookie Pops… Great Cookie Recipe For Kids!
Valentine Cookie Pops are super easy to make using Pillsbury® Ready To Bake!™ cookies. These adorable valentines-on-a-stick are super yummy and the kids adore them! INGREDIENTS
*1 package (18 oz) Pillsbury® Ready To Bake!™ refrigerated sugar cookies
*20 flat wooden sticks with round ends
*1 1/4 cups vanilla creamy ready-to-spread frosting (from 1-lb container)
*3 jars Assorted small candies, or candy decors or nonpareils, if desired
*10 yards red curling ribbon, string, paper, or whatever else you might like to use to decorate them with
DIRECTIONS
1. Heat oven to 350°F. On ungreased cookie sheets, place cookie dough pieces 2 inches apart. Into side of each piece of dough, insert wooden stick 1 inch, overlapping wooden sticks as necessary.
2. Bake 12 to 16 minutes or until edges are light golden brown. Cool 2 minutes; remove from cookie sheets. Cool completely, about 10 minutes.
3. Spread frosting on one side of each cookie; decorate with candies. Tie 18 inches of red ribbon into bow around each stick next to cookie.

Love Letter Sugar Cookies
What a better way to say I love you than to spell it out with Love Letter Sugar Cookies! These are super easy and really tasty. A perfect treat to make with your kiddos as well.
Love Letter Sugar Cookie Recipe:
2 c. flour
½ c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 c. butter or margarine
2 tsp. finely grated lemon rind
1/2 cup sour cream
Heat oven 475°F.
Blend flour, sugar and salt; cut in butter and rinds until mixture resembles coarse meal.
Blend sour cream in evenly. Gather dough into firm ball. Divide in half.
Roll out onto well-floured board to 1/8″ thickness. Cut in 3″ x 2″ pieces and form the shapes of letter or use cookie cutters if you have them.
Place on ungreased baking sheet. Brush tops with water; sprinkle with sugar.
Bake 6-8 min or until golden brown.

Valentine Sugar Cookies Ingredients
* 7 cups all-purpose flour
* 2 cups white sugar
* 2 teaspoons salt
* 2 teaspoons baking powder
* 1 1/2 cups shortening
* 3 teaspoons vanilla extract
* 1 cup milk
* 3 eggs
Butter Icing for Valentine Sugar Cookies
1 1/2 cups confectioners’ sugar
3 tablespoons butter, softened
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon milk
3 drops red food coloring
sugar decorations or sprinkles if desired
Valentine Sugar Cookies Directions
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
2. In a large mixing bowl, mix together flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder. Slowly beat in shortening. Once the shortening is well blended, stir vanilla extract, milk, and then eggs into the dough.
Roll out dough onto a floured surface, using a floured rolling pin. Roll the dough thick. Cut out cookies with cookie cutter and arrange them on a baking sheet sheet.
3. Bake at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for 8 to 10 minutes, or just until bottom is golden. You want the cookies soft and chewy not crispy.
4. Once cookies are cooled frost with butter icing and add sprinkles, candies, or other fun treats!
